How to Order your Hand Painted Tiles...
Our Bespoke service allows us to produce any image on tiles, we can work from photos, designs on fabric, and adapt any of our designs to your specifications...
How It Works
1. Share your ideas via email.
Send photos, fabric designs, colours, inspiration, or let us design something entirely bespoke for you from your ideas.
Your correct space measurement's are vital and these will be used to create a scaled drawing for your approval. When measuring be aware of obstacles such as flue pipes, up- stands, switch sockets, taps, shower heads and any other obstruction that the design will need to accommodate.
2. Once you are happy with the design from seeing drawings, colour samples and tile samples, we can then create your tiles.
We ask for a 50% deposit of the total cost of your order so work can begin. All relevant paper work will be emailed to you including an Order Confirmation, noting every detail of your order and production time.
3. Your design is sketched out on to the ceramic tiles, hand painted and kiln-fired in small batches with close attention to detail. Photos of this process will be sent to you as the project progresses, this way you can have input throughout the entire order production.
4. Once your tiles have completed their firings the tiles are then numbered on their backs, this is so your tiler, along with the scaled drawing, has a clear instruction to the layout of the tile panel.
5. The tiles are now ready for delivery, they are packed carefully in plenty of protection for delivery across the UK & Worldwide.
6. Your finished tiles arrive ready to install with full postal insurance and tracking, carefully packaged and made to last for years to come.

Fowling in the Marshes from Nebamun's Tomb on tiles

Fresco of Fowling in the Marshes from Nebamun's Tomb, from Thebes, Egypt 1350BC. The three fragments of this fresco, shown in the layout below, are placed to recreate how the entire piece would have possible looked. The main largest piece is on display in The British Museum and the two smaller pieces locations are unknown, there are only photos of their existence. Our project was to paint the scene in its entire symmetrical design with a bit of artistic licence.
